About

As a single 30-year-old man living in California, something I’ve loved to do since I was in high school is write. What starting off as as merely dramatic, emotional poetry transitioned into a more serious passion based off of my faith in Jesus and my God-given desire to help people.

Having experienced trauma at an earlier age of 11 through my parents’ divorce, I use this blog not only to touch upon aspects of Christianity (such as the fallacy of Christian niceness, memories and healing our past through faith, the power of the grace of God, the space between faith and agnosticism, and so many more–), but also to touch upon the sentimental, delicate, complex subjects of family, divorce, and depression.

My sincerest hope is that my writing will be an inspiration and a means of encouragement for those who are experiencing a hard time with the subjects mentioned above, as well as so many others I have written and will continue to write upon. I also intend for my articles to act as a boost of assurance and motivation for those who are already riding the waves of optimism, joy, and hope through Christ.

You’ll also notice my “Movie Reviews” page, which is made up of my movie critiques. Though these are not the same in the sense that they are not as heavily faith-based, I still review films from a Christian standpoint.

Above all else, as a Christ-follower, I hope the faith permeating the words of my articles will encourage others to follow in faith, hope, and expectation—the way of the Lord. My prayer is that the very best comes from reading these articles, and that people are challenged to become better versions of themselves through faith in a God who is able to transform our spirits through love, grace, and mercy.

If you enjoy reading these articles, feel free to follow my blog here, or you may also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, InstagramTumblr! May God bless you! Thank you for reading!

  1. Hi, I can feel your enthusiasm for Christ right here on your About page and I’m sure He will be with you and through you in all you do. Keep the flames of faith well and truly fanned so they never dim.
    God bless 😊
